Day 1: Arrival in Oaxaca - Warm-up Run + Welcome Dinner
Arrive and settle in with a 4-mile warm-up run through Oaxaca's vibrant center. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at Criollo, featuring Oaxaca's diverse flavors, crafted by chef Enrique Olvera.

Day 2: Monte Alban 6 Mile Run - Traditional Temazcal Ceremony
Start with a refreshing run at Monte Albán, the historic center of Zapotec culture. Enjoy breakfast at Las Quince Letras and free time to explore. The day concludes with a sacred Zapotec temazcal ceremony for spiritual and physical rejuvenation.

Do I need to book my own flights?
Yes, book your flights to and from Oaxaca. Once you're here, we handle everything from transportation to activities.
Which airport should I use?
Use Oaxaca International Airport (OAX). Check with airlines for direct or connecting flights.
What are the passport requirements?
Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after your entry into Mexico. Check any other entry requirements with your passport authority.
Who should I contact if I have questions, need to adjust, or cancel my reservation?
Aire Libre is handling all reservations for this event. For any changes, cancellations, or questions, don't hesitate to contact them directly. You'll find their contact form at the bottom of this page, or if you prefer, you can schedule a meeting.
Can I cancel my booking?
Cancel before March 5th, 2025, to receive a 50% refund of your registration fee.
Note: This does not cover personal expenses such as flights.
What if the retreat is canceled by Aire Libre?
If we don't meet the minimum of 6 participants, we might have to cancel. You can choose between a full refund or transferring your fee to another Aire Libre experience.
What is not included in the retreat package?
  • Travel to Oaxaca via airline or other travel means
  • Airport shuttles: Transportation to and from the airport is not included.
  • Travel insurance: We highly recommend securing personal travel insurance for peace of mind.
  • Alcoholic beverages: These and any additional meals beyond those provided are not included.
  • Photography services: We won't be documenting the experience
